Iam heartbroken

Today before me lies a nation  that's angry a nation divided along racial and economic lines. Racism has always existed, the only way it can end is when we as a people repent .we can try to solve the ills of our society. We can try to stem the rise of hate but it will always come back somehow and in somewhere. The riots and looters what are they accomplishing absoulutely nothing,we can have so many conferences to address the social problems we are facing daily, but this is a heart issue, racism and bigotry has even crept up into the church, we have pastors out there that are putting gasoline in to the fire by thinking the way the world thinks. Already some of them took this 'us against them' mentality. What we need to hear is the gospel..that is how can sinful man be right before a just and Holy God. Eph 2 says that man is separated from God because of sin. We have transgressed Gods law we committed cosmic treason against God therefore we react according to our DNA that means our sin that has been passed down to us. I keep hearing the phrase "people of color" well we all are 'people of color " we have black brown white ...but the same melin...we are all one because of adam..the bible says that because we all sinned we have fallen short of the glory of God. Today we have white people in churches apologizing for what their ancestors did . Scripture teaches us that each one will be judged by their own sin ...we were children of disobedience now we ate children of light if you call yourself a christian and you still harbor racist attitudes then you need to repent. Jesus said that the world will know that we are his disciples because of our love towards one another.  Why do we keep going backwards  we are here to speak to the broken hearted, what man needs is the gospel..again this is a heart issue your still in your sins, why would you do and loot and burn property for the sake of being heard? All that does is reinforces negative stereotype.  Let's pray that the church will stand in the gap, and pray ephesians 6 says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood .its principalities this is a spiritual war waged for the soul of our communities
